I'm already feverishly back to work on a special project that I can't share with you quite yet but our mountain getaway was everything we hoped it would be and more: namely frigidly cold! Brrrr! Who knew that an extra 4,000 ft or so higher could make that much difference in temperature? That was a lesson I'll never forget. Even the dogs were miserable. But you can't be unhappy for long in this kind of beauty.

Need to get me a mountain retreat! I think the UK is running rather slim on mountains and retreats for that matter. Shall settle for a tent and small hill instead.

Yep, hard to gripe, even though I can't stand being cold. I'll have to show Joey these pics, maybe next year, we'll make it up that way, no vacation this year, too much going on this summer. Zoe leaves for Lubbock July 31st, going to be REALLY wierd being down to 2 kids- really wierd.
