When I started my doodling notebook, I was coloring in all my designs. It was the color that I loved most. But the more I do them, the more I fall in love with the line.
And there's something about the black and white. But I still can't decide which I like best.
What do you think? Color or black and white?

I like the color! The black white is good too. But the color makes it stand out so well!

I like the black and white but the colour really makes your designs come to life - especially the flowers.
I wish my doodles were as beautiful as this!

I think they both are wonderful--I can't pick one or the other!!

Definitely the color, but why not copy the black and white and have both!

I adore black and white but in these, the color just makes the lines really POP! All are awesome.

I like the black and white, for sure.
Both are pretty cool though.
I have been inspired by you.

I was going to say both, but that is not all the helpful! I would say the color, the detail really pops that way! Beautiful job!

Colour. And I WISH I could doodle like that!

I like the more intricate doodles in black and white, they get a tad too busy when colored. But I LOVE the flowers in the first pic in color! :)

Both ways are extremely pretty, and they give a really different impression. I would make b/w copies of the doodles and colour those instead, or scan a few to colour them in the computer - that would be a fun play too! :-)

For me it would depend on what mood I was in. Today I am loving the colors, other days I am loving the B&W. I know what I will be doing this afternoon. Thanks for the inspiration.

I thought I'd love the black and white the best but now that I've seen the coloured ones they look finished somehow. Your designs would make a fantastic colouring book though don't you think?

They are both beautiful! I would love to see some where just bits were colored - that would be cool! I think if it were my journal I would color some pages and leave some black and white - depending on my mood.

Generally, i don't like zentangles, but I love your doodles! I wish i could do that! And yes, I like the colored ones best. It reminds me of Mexican or South/central American folk art. Lovely!

Black and white looks more appealing to me, but then again I don't really care for the colours you have (maybe it's just monitor settings? They all look strangely dull or fluorescent).
I think you would make some pretty sweet colouring books though! You know, for older children who need more of a challenge.

I'm a big fan of black and white and always have trouble converting my black and whites into color because I don't want to ruin the drawing. You on the other hand have used the colors in an exciting way--I love your color choices--just beautiful!
