We finally made our way out of Texas (It only took 3 days.) and are settling into our new home in Pueblo. I couldn't be happier with our little house which surprised me with an extra art/school room complete with a wall full of tiny cabinets perfect for storing our supplies in. We've still got a way to go to really feel at home here, but we're working on it. Several inches of snow yesterday did a lot to help us settle in.
With boxes to unpack and dinner with friends every night, I haven't had much time to journal. In fact, the few times I've tried have been a more difficult than usual for me to get into the groove. Unfortunately, that's what happens when you take a week off from art (my journal bag accidentally was packed onto the moving van--gasp!!). So, I'm easing into it and looking forward to getting back into the zone. Thankfully, I saved a few finished pages to show you while we all wait.
There is so much to explore and experience in our new home, and I'm enjoying every minute of it. I see many more wonderful journal pages in my future, but patience right now is key. And pushing through the fog to get to the other side. Martinis with friends couldn't hurt either, I'd say.

Best wishes in your new home. I love your journal pages...I'm hoping mine turn out half as good. Happy journeys.

EEk, I'm so excited. You must post pics of the house. How neat- snow for the kids, they'll have to get used to that! What a culture shock. I love the pic of you guys in front of the Colorado sign. I hope everything falls into place for you guys- your family deserves it so much- hugs & kisses!
